Matt Kirby is the Campaign Director at Permit Power. For the last decade, he has run local campaigns to protect special landscapes and has helped secure permanent protections for millions of acres of public lands. He comes to Permit Power most recently from the National Parks Conservation Association, where he built their national program to protect parks and adjacent communities from the impacts of energy development. Before that, Matt spent the early part of his career as a federal policy expert and lobbyist at the Sierra Club.
