Hannah Birnbaum is the Chief of Advocacy of Permit Power. She is a veteran campaigner, political strategist, and organizer with 15 years of experience in the environmental and labor movements. Hannah came to Permit Power from Sierra Club, where she held leadership roles in the energy advocacy and political programs, and ultimately oversaw the national field operation. Prior to that, Hannah led policy and legislative campaigns to win fair wages and working conditions for low-wage workers at Service Employees International Union and United Auto Workers.
