Nicole Gentile is a Campaign Director for Permit Power. She has nearly two decades of experience in issue advocacy, campaign strategy, policy, and coalition building. Nicole joins Permit Power from the Center for American Progress, where she held several leadership roles, ultimately directing the organization’s conservation program and overseeing national advocacy strategies. In this capacity, she also successfully fundraised with major foundations to secure the long-term growth and sustainability of the conservation portfolio. Before joining CAP, she worked at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where she ran issue campaigns focused on clean energy and conservation. Nicole began her career as a campaigner and organizer with Environment America, where she trained in public interest advocacy and led high-earning grassroots fundraising efforts.
